"Pink
Night raised almost $8000 – it was a great success with well
over 100 people attending. We had over 25 local
businesses, including restaurants and caterers showing off yummy
items from their menus. Live music all evening had toes tapping.
The 55 silent auction items kept the crowd hoping their last bid
would end up being best. The 28 different raffle items
drew lots of attention as well. Our ‘Pink Stage’ was
graced with 5 different seminar speakers throughout the evening
with presentations full of interest and information.
The Invincibelle
Spirit Campaign is the perfect storm for a garden center. Great Plant,
great cause, great demographic. It is easy to plan an event around a
hydrangea. Everyone loves hydrangeas – especially any non-white variety of
hydrangea here in the north. The cause you are supporting is extremely
important to our core demographic. It really is the perfect combination.
All the businesses and customers we spoke to about this event had in some way a
story to tell about how breast cancer had affect their lives or someone dear to
them. Everyone was so generous and willing to donate to the evening.
Our staff was also extremely willing to go the extra mile for this cause and
this event. It was something they all truly believed in. We will be
doing Pink Night again!"

"Pink Day is a wonderful event and easily one of our favorite
days of the year. From a business point of view, the best promotion we do is
giving customers 10% off if they make a donation (any donation)...sales are
quite high that day.
My favorite part of Pink Day is the way customers stop us to
thank us for hosting the event. Over the four years that we have held Pink Day,
we have heard so many stories – stories of courage – some have sad endings, some
have wonderful happy endings. That is, by far, the best part of the day."
