The garden center that raised the most money was
Otten Bros.. They raised $7625, and split it three
ways, giving $2541.67 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation,
the Piper Breast Center, and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day For the
Cure event, respectively.
|
The most creative event award goes to
Nature's Corner. They got their staff involved with
many sporting pink wigs - one guy even dyed his hair pink! They
sold pink lemonade and pink ribbon cookies to also raise money.
They deserve to win because they showed how you can have a fun,
festive event even on a small budget. Plus, they received
coverage on their local TV station, proving this was a success
for their business.
